Ayla Sullivan has been a dedicated, holistic arts educator for ten years! From spoken word poetry, applied theatre practices, and Shakespeare performance, Sullivan has taught performance studies to children as young as six years old up to college aged youth at various conferences, college campuses, public schools, summer camps, and even created Shakepeare curricula for an intergenerational homeschooling community. Their focus is creating a well rounded, supportive environment where all students can thrive equitably; bringing a firm commitment to restorative justice practice to all educational spaces; and making intersections of accessibility a core value where they teach. Currently, they are a Restorative Justice Coordinator in the Northeast Bronx and serve as the Director of Education for Shift23 Media, of which they are a co founder.
